About Daniel
I am a 1st Year Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine Student at UNSW, currently holding a distinction average across courses this year. As a well-rounded individual, I can appreciate the difficulty of balancing school life and extracurriculars with UCAT preparation. My first try at the UCAT, although I barely prepared, yielded a 2880. My 2nd try yielded a 3170, with a 707 SJT, and scored offers from UNSW Med and UQ Dent. Improving nearly 300 points, I have the experience to guide you on your UCAT preparation journey. I completed NCEA Level 3 with Endorsed with Excellence in 2023, finishing a year early thanks to PNBHS's accelerate program. In school I was a Grade 8 Piano player, played the saxophone for the school band, and represented the school in football and badminton.

As a UNSW Medicine student who scored 3170 (94th percentile) in the UCAT, I teach proven strategies for all sections, including achieving full marks in Quantitative Reasoning (900). My lessons focus on time management, pattern recognition, and exam technique, personalized to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. Lessons will be tailored to spot weaknesses and gaps, and give personalized feedback to improve your score.
Interview training will involve identifying a personalised strategy for YOU to handle tough or personal interview questions on the day. This will be followed up with mock interviews conducted using realistic scenarios.
The typical length of a lesson will be ~ 1hr, and carried out over Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet. Feel free to message for more information.

Daniel is a trustworthy tutor for help with ucat study because he spends time getting to understand where you need help and what your learning strategies are.
Daniel is a good friend of mine. He always has positive energy and is a great person to be around. He’s a dedicated med student at UNSW, I always see him waking up early and studying in the library. He’s also a very supportive person, as he never says no to a friend asking for his help whether it’s academically, or else. Therefore, I think Daniel will be a great and responsible tutor and will definitely help elevate the skills of the students.
