About Zara
Hi! I'm Zara, an incoming medical student starting this year. After sitting the UCAT in 2025, and scoring in the 9th decile of UCAT takers along with a Band 1 in SJT, I received offers from University of Edinburgh, University of Aberdeen and University of St Andrews, along with an interview at UCL, which I withdrew after receiving my St Andrews offer.
I know that the UCAT is a daunting exam, and although there are numerous study resources to prepare for it, tailored advice from somebody who has recently sat the exam can be very beneficial and worthwhile; particularly since the new format started in 2025.
I want to support 2026 UCAT takers by providing them with a variety of techniques to reassure them that they are equipped with the skills necessary to ace the exam!
