About Vijay
Hi, I'm Vijay! I graduated in 2020 from Pembroke School with an ATAR of 99.55 and a 99th percentile UCAT score (3200) and am now in my 4th year as a medical student at the University of Adelaide. ๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฌ This year my UCAT students scored an average of 3065 (93rd percentile), allowing them to secure interview offers to medical schools around the country. ๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐บ๐ฒ I have been tutoring for over three years and have helped many students achieve their goals, including admission to medical schools around the country and multiple merits in Research Project and Activating Identities and Future (AIF) and Math Methods. My best subjects were Math Methods (19.8) and the Research Project where I scored a merit with 9.85. Additionally, I have also obtained a DHS Working with Children Check.

Having gone through the challenges of year 12 in one of the most difficult years for students, I can offer helpful tips and tricks that I wish I had. My teaching approach is heavily tailored to each student's unique strengths and weaknesses, with a focus on mastering basics before progressing to more advanced concepts. I like to regularly test students to ensure they have fully understood concepts. Despite this, I like to accelerate my students ahead of their class and have a variety of resources, including past tests, A+ exemplars and mock exams that I use to expose students to exam and test style questions. ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด I understand the importance of high-quality written work and I will work with students to ensure that assignments meet the required standards. While I typically draft assignments during lessons, I am also available to provide additional drafting services for a fee. The cost will depend on the amount of editing required, but as a rough guide: 1000 WORDS | $100 1500 WORDS | $140 2000 WORDS | $170
