About Tanya

I am a Business Consulting Professional with over 8 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, bringing real-world expertise and a deep passion for education into every tutoring session.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering and an MBA. I am currently completing a second Master's degree in Business Analytics, which means I am actively immersed in academic study myself — I understand the pressures and challenges students face firsthand.
My professional background spans complex data analysis, business strategy, and technology — subjects I now bring to life for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students in Math, Computer Science, and Business.
I am passionate about making difficult concepts accessible. I believe every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to build genuine understanding and lasting confidence in the subjects they find most challenging.
I take my commitment to students seriously — lessons are well-prepared, structured, and tailored to each individual's pace and learning style.

My lessons are tailored to each student, whether they're tackling Junior Cert or Leaving Cert Maths, Computer Science, or Business subjects. I start by identifying gaps in understanding before building confidence through clear explanation, worked examples, and progressive practice.
As a Business Consulting Professional with 8+ years in Financial Services, an MBA, and a Bachelor's in IT Engineering — currently completing a Master's in Business Analytics — I bring real-world context to every topic, making abstract concepts click.
My approach:

Begin each session by reviewing previous material and addressing any difficulties
Introduce new concepts step by step with relatable, real-world examples
Reinforce learning through practice questions and past exam papers
Track progress and adjust pace to suit each student's needs

Typical lessons run 60 minutes, structured to maintain focus without overwhelming the student.
Whether your child is just starting out in Junior Cert or pushing for top Leaving Cert grades, my goal is simple — build genuine understanding, not just exam technique.
