About Ray
I’m a UCI graduate, educator, public speaker, and co-founder of Eayikes, a community-based nonprofit focused on youth empowerment and belonging. For over a decade, I’ve led programs, facilitated workshops, and created tools that help people feel more connected to themselves, and to each other. I formerly taught Human Development, where we specialized in restorative practices, therapeutic circles, and social emotional learning. I also created Soulversations, a card game designed to spark meaningful conversations. Whether I’m coaching students or speaking on stage, my work centers on trust, growth, and helping people show up more fully in their lives.

My Approach as a Coach and Guide I don’t see this as tutoring in the traditional sense, it’s more holding space for growth. I help people build confidence, speak from their truth, and develop tools that actually feel usable in real life. How I Teach Each session is a mix of reflection, conversation, and skill-building. We talk things through, ask good questions, and practice—whether it’s public speaking, mindset work, or just showing up more fully as yourself. I bring frameworks I’ve learned through years of facilitating, teaching Human Development, and co-leading programs that help people grow from the inside out. A Typical Session Looks Like: A simple check-in: How are you really doing today? Focus: What’s coming up for you right now—public speaking nerves, confidence dips, clarity blocks? Practice: We’ll go through strategies, stories, and exercises that support where you are. Wrap-up: Space to reflect and land what matters, plus a small takeaway to carry forward. What Makes This Different I’m here to walk alongside you in your journey. I’ve worked with people across all walks of life, from: students, artists, educators, and people navigating big life shifts. I aim to meet people where they are, speak with honesty, and create a space where growth feels real and human, not overwhelming or out of reach.
