About Gus
I am a 25-year-old Master's graduate who currently lives in Canterbury. I recently completed an MA in Legal and Political Theory from University College London, receiving a first-class honours, and I am also currently working as a cover teacher in a secondary school. I understand that every student will have a different perspective on political questions. In fact, I encourage students, no matter their views, to defend and deepen their own particular answers to such questions. It's important to me, therefore, that students come away from our sessions feeling secure in their own political beliefs and that they can defend them with confidence.

My lessons are aimed at students studying towards their A-Level Government and Politics. My main method for teaching is communicating techniques for exams and engaging in broader conversations related to social, legal and political life. What the student wants to get out of our time together and what I believe they need will inform the structure of the sessions and the guidance I offer. I will encourage my students to deepen and develop their own perspectives on politics, law and society. The typical duration of my lessons is 1 to 2 hours.
