About Rachele
I am a recent graduate from UCL with a Master of Arts in Reception of the Classical World. Former BA student in History and History of Ideas. I am specialised in European History and History of Art, with an interest in At criticism and interpretation, and Arts Management practice and theory.
I currently work as Collections Assistant at The Jewish Musuem London, and I am also the creative writer for the E-mag Abundnat Art, for which I attend and review art events in London.

I opt for an operational and concrete approach to the study of History of Arts. This implies, but it is not limited to, Iconographic Analysis, used to interpret the meaning of an art work at the time of its production, and Critical Theory that attempts to understand artwork by the societal structures and pressures that influenced it. Questions we will answer include "What was this artwork for?", "Why is it of relevance in the historiographical context surrounding its production?".
My lessons can be easily adapted to different students, with different needs and academic backgrounds.
The lesson takes place in the form of seminar with open discussion and confrontation between the students and myself. They will be given a worksheet with a series of questions which will serve as basic guidelines to lead the discussion.
