I am a History graduate from UCL who has years of experience tutoring maths and English at 11+ and GCSE level. I helped these students achieve a grade on average two grades above their starting point. I am kind, motivated, and bubbly- I strongly believe the best way to tutor is to make sure the student is relaxed and comfortable, as this is the best way to learn

I give lessons to students from primary age to 16-17. I have three years experience teaching GCSE Maths and English to a high standard. At the start of each lesson it is helpful to provide the student with a clear goal that they hope to achieve during the session, and provide positive feedback throughout, ensuring to ask many questions to ensure their knowledge of the topic is consolidated. Repetition is key to learning, and I like to give a five minute review of the previous session at the start of the following lesson.
