About Haris
I am Haris, a first-year Medical student at University College London, one of the UK's leading medical schools. I achieved 4A*s at A-Level in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and History.
Alongside my studies, I am an active member of UCL's surgical research community, a named committee member on an international medical research project, and have completed extensive clinical placements at NHS hospitals including Queen Victoria Hospital and Whittington Hospital. I also delivered an outreach talk on behalf of a UCL surgical society to secondary school students earlier this year as I am passionate about education and helping younger students reach their potential, whether that's achieving top grades at GCSE and A-Level or navigating the competitive Medicine admissions process. I bring the same dedication and attention to detail to my tutoring that I apply to my own studies and research.

Description:
I am a first-year medical student at University College London, having achieved 4A*s at A-level in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and History.
Having recently navigated the entire medical school application process myself — securing a place at UCL, one of the UK's most competitive medical schools — I offer honest, practical, and up-to-date coaching for aspiring medical students.
I can help with:
Personal statement writing and review — structure, content, and what admissions tutors are actually looking for
MMI interview preparation — mock stations, realistic feedback, and confidence building
UCAT preparation — strategy, timing, and section-specific techniques
General application guidance — work experience, university selection, and timeline planning
University transition and study skills, particularly for incoming UCL students
I have volunteered as an MMI mentor through Aspire Medicine and delivered widening participation outreach sessions to sixth form students, so I am experienced in supporting students at all stages of the application journey.
My coaching is tailored to each individual — I focus on helping you present your genuine strengths authentically rather than giving generic advice that sounds like everyone else's application.

Haris is a phenomenal tutor. He is very knowledgeable, skilled and excellent at teaching. His method of teaching and how he breaks down hard concepts into smaller understandable sections has really helped me. He has helped me improve in many sections and has built upon my understanding for challenging topics I struggled with, making them easy for me.
Haris has been an incredible science tutor for me, and I honestly cannot recommend him enough! He doesn't just skim through topics, he takes the lots of time to properly teach the core concepts so you actually understand them rather than just memorising facts. He completely carried me through my exams, turning really difficult topics into easy ones and he really helped boosting my confidence in bio, chem and physics igcse .
