About Emma
I am currently studying Comparative Literature with a Year Abroad at UCL. However, I have a diverse range of additional interests including Science, History and Music, which I am also enthusiastic about. I am very organised and consider myself to be reliable -whenever I make a commitment, I work hard to ensure I can fulfil it.

From my own experience (having only recently completed my GCSE's and A Levels) I know that these years can be very difficult for both pupils and their parents due to the large amounts of pressure forced on students so young. In my teaching I will prioritise academic support, nonetheless, I also wish to be able to support each pupil in a personal way as I know there are going the be times where they struggle. I consider myself to have a holistic approach to tutoring. Each person is unique and has a different way of learning and processing things. In my lessons, I will seek out how each person learns best, and subsequently cater each lesson to their needs. By having a healthy relationship with my pupils, I should like to know them and understand their interests. This way, revising could become more interesting and diverse instead of dull and repetitive.
