About Denys
I'm Denys, a Ukrainian software engineer and data scientist currently based in Dublin. English is my third language — I learned it through years of study, professional work, and using it daily in an international environment. That journey gives me a genuine understanding of what adult learners go through: the frustration, the mental fatigue of switching languages, the gap between understanding grammar and actually speaking naturally. I teach because I've been on the other side of that struggle and I know what actually helps.

As a non-native speaker, I know exactly where adults get stuck — complex grammar, speaking hesitation, vocabulary that won't stick. My lessons focus on practical conversation and breaking through the plateau that comes after you have the basics. Sessions are structured but adaptable — 1 hour for focused practice, 2 hours for deeper work. Best suited for adults with a foundation who want to actually sound fluent, not just correct.
