About Richard
I have worked internationally for USAID, Ford Foundation, and IUCN implementing a myriad of natural resource-based projects. I speak French, Russian, and native English. I would be more than happy to provide contact information for former students. I enjoy teaching and have a desire to impart what I have learned in my life. I enjoy students who respectfully question authority and who can think. I have no ethnic prejudices whatsoever and enjoy the diversity provided by different people from different 'worlds'. Tattoos, spiked, blue hair? Not a problem.

I explain complex issues very easily and I have practical, on-the-ground experience to link with most science concepts. I believe that hands-on experience is necessary and my goal is to teach both subject matter and critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is of utmost importance and so is having fun learning. Think out of the box!
