About Emily
I am a first year modern languages and cultures student aiming to promote and encourage the gift of language learning, particularly among younger children who haven’t been exposed much to the breadth of cultural knowledge available beyond their immediate environments. Language learning opens the opportunity to converse with so many people and lets you make long-lasting friends. Sadly, this discipline is often neglected in schools which prioritise other core subjects so I believe that individual tutoring which is tailored to each student’s needs and interests would be extremely beneficial.

Spanish
Practising speaking will be prioritised in order to give children the space to grow in confidence and competency in their conversational skills. Widening vocabulary would also be an essential component of my teaching to allow for increased ease in every discipline of language learning, including listening and reading. I would make learning engaging by providing visual aids and would encourage students to actively participate in the classes so that their skills can be honed and improved.
