About Yi
Hi! I’m Yi Ling, a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping others learn languages and grow in confidence. I’ve studied Japanese formally and understand how fun yet challenging it can be. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, so I can easily connect with students from diverse backgrounds. My experience teaching children at Sunday School and tutoring in community projects has also taught me how I can modify and adapt lessons according to my students' needs, allowing me to remain engaging and supportive for every learner. My inspiration for becoming an online tutor is my enjoyment in seeing students progress and fall in love with learning languages!
