About Hannah
I am an undergraduate English major at the University of Alberta, with a minor in creative writing. As both a published author and journalist I have practical experience in various forms of writing, as well as a well-rounded theoretical understanding of writing and literature that I have acquired throughout my degree thus far. I have received a number of academic awards and have recently been accepted into the Golden Key Honours Society.

I like to approach literature with a creative, open-minded, and personal approach; whether you're analyzing a classic novel or writing your own piece of creative literature, I think it's important to be genuinely engaged with the text! I cater my lessons to your individual needs as a student: whether you need help with grammar, assistance developing a strong thesis statement, or help identifying the central themes in a text, our lessons will be dedicated to the topics that you want to focus on. With all of my students, I try to foster a positive environment where students feel comfortable and confident enough to truly engage with the materials!
