About Mami
I was raised in a bilingual family, in which both Chinese and Japanese are spoken. I was born in China, so I am native to Chinese, and when I moved back to Japan, I started to learn Japanese again from the very beginning.
Therefore, if you are trying to learn Chinese or Japanese (or both), you are exactly looking at the right person! I have rich experience teaching Chinese back in Japan, and I was also once a Japanese learner. I fully understand the confusion people unfamiliar with these languages might encounter during the learning process, and I can provide them with my own experience and help them very patiently.

As long as you are interested in Chinese or Japanese you are welcome to learn the language with me!
There are 2 types of classes that I offer, and they are very different.
1) If you aim to pass any language exams, such as N1 and N2 in Japanese, I will apply the textbooks, teach all the grammar, review and analyze all the mistakes made in the homework, etc. Just like an ordinary language class. (focus more on writing and reading skills)
2) If you are learning the language without the goal of passing any exam, I will focus more on listening and speaking skills. This means that our study pattern will just be like a daily conversation, as I will chat with you to encourage you to speak more and learn the culture of that language at the same time.
Last but not least, the reason that made me become a tutor is that I really enjoy meeting people who are interested in Chinese and Japanese languages and cultures. I never feel that I am a teacher, rather, I learn from my students, too.
