About Kushagra
Currently I'm an international student at NUS, pursuing my degree in economics and specializing in monetary economics & finance with a minor from the business school. Prior to this, I have done my education in India from the CBSE. In my Class XII examinations I scored a 99% in the commerce + pure math stream. I had a perfect score in business studies & a 99% in English & accounting and 98% in mathematics. I also have a good command over English and have a deep interest in social sciences & sciences, such that I possess the ability to make any subject disciplinary and thereby join the theory to the practice in the real world and help the students understand implications/effects of it on the real world.

I believe that teaching & learning is not just for passing the test. It's about making a lifelong connection with the subject so as to make it a part of life & thereby gaining the ability to feel it happening around you. When I study accounting, I just don't do it in such a way that I am able to pass the test. I learn it in a way such that I can visualize it happening around me. I also just don't limit myself to the textbook but expand my horizon beyond to the real world and try as many case studies as possible to know how theory works in practice, and I aim to do the same when I teach others. I aim to create the next generation of inspired children, for whom learning is more than just exams. It's a part of their life and they enjoy it.
