About Tani
I am a 1st year undergraduate student at Warwick University studying Politics, Philosophy and Law. After graduating I intend to take a law conversion. For my A-levels I took Maths, Economics and Psychology. I really struggled with maths at the start of year 12. I was put in a class where every other student was studying further maths so they unsurprisingly scored the highest marks in our cohort. As I had so many advanced students in my class, our teacher would never take the time to actually teach the content or the necessary skills, which meant I ended up scoring very poorly. I was also in a new school, in a different city which just made matters that much more stressful. Despite this, I was able to discover learning techniques that worked for me and even though I was predicted a B, I received a high A.

I have tutored 11+ maths students in the past, so I have experience in assisting students. I think what makes me an ideal GCSE or A-Level maths tutor is not just the plethora of resources I have access to, but also the trajectory I had in my A-level maths results. I know how to work with students who aren’t given the right support in class and may learn differently than the majority.
