About Matty
Hello there! My name is Matty. I am hoping that by reading this you have taken an interest in my profile. My passion in life is to help individuals (especially in times of need, hence studying paramedic science), and would LOVE to help you succeed and thrive at a subject which you may be lacking a little bit of self-confidence in. I understand reaching out to a tutor on the internet may be scary, but I am here to help you through an interactive and judgement-free approach to learning. I will be giving you quizzes, tests, explanations and many more learning techniques to best suit you and allow for your educational journey to be as smooth sailing as possible! Whilst being a positive learning environment for a mixture of abilities, I will be making sure to challenge you to strive for success. Whether this is through supportive feedback on a task which I have asked you to do, or commend you on excellent work! I don't expect to see 100% accuracy when we first begin our learning, BUT, I do expect, and hope for 100% effort. If you believe this is you or your child, then I am looking forward to tutoring you!

I am looking to tutor individuals who may not have the confidence, but certainly the ability to achieve outstanding grades through encouragement of self-confidence and self-belief. My lessons will ideally be interactive learning and student-based approach. I am more than willing to cater to the needs of how each of my students prefer learning, making it enjoyable, whilst still improving confidence and knowledge in the subject being taught! All throughout school, whilst volunteering to be tutors for younger students, I too, had extra support and tutors. Understanding what works for a student is the most important way of helping them to learn. Ideally, looking to tutor from the ages of 9-13 year olds. Ideally teaching pre-GCSE (11 plus examination preparation) / introduction to GCSE syllabus.
