About Tan
My name is Yuanzheng, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the National University of Singapore, majoring in Computer Science. My academic journey is deeply fueled by a passion for algorithms and mathematical theory. I thrive on diving deep into complex concepts and transforming them into intuitive, easy-to-understand ideas.
For me, the beauty of computer science lies in the elegance of algorithms and the logic that underpins mathematical theories. I find immense joy in not only understanding these concepts at a fundamental level but also in sharing that understanding with others. Whether it’s through study groups, tutoring, or casual discussions, I love helping my peers grasp intricate topics in a way that feels natural and engaging.
Outside the classroom, you’ll often find me exploring the latest research in computational theory, working on personal coding projects, or participating in hackathons. I believe that by spreading intuition and clarity, we can make the world of computer science more accessible and exciting for everyone.
I’m excited to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for unraveling the complexities of algorithms and math, and I look forward to the collaborative learning experiences that lie ahead.

With the experience from teaching several courses at my university as a teaching assistant (TA), I am excited to take my teaching methods from university to the general public, and start bu engaging the curiosity of my students in the subject matter, before going into the details of mathematical concepts or algorithms using intuitive visualsations like those made by 3Blue1Brown.
