About Maxim
I am a Unity C# game programmer with 6 years of experience. I have developed many games currently released on Google Play with my previous game development studio D2D games and now I am working on projects independently with my team. I have a YouTube channel where I released 70+ videos that teach people how to make games with Unity and have my own Unity game programming course on Udemy, one of the largest learning and teaching platforms. Over the years of learning and teaching, I understood that practice is what makes knowledge stick, makes learning fun and makes students feel satisfied with the visible progress that they have made.

I believe the best way to learn anything is to use the knowledge learnt immediately and to use it often. I will explain any programming concept or Unity function with a practical example that is related to the game that we are making and not some potential theoretical scenario. You will learn the basics of programming and Unity, one of the leading engines used by the gaming industry, to create games. 61% of developers use it for game creation. Lessons typically run for 1 hour per session and are tailored towards beginners and intermediate developers. During a typical lesson, we will identify the next goal (creating character movement for instance), break down the goal into chunks if necessary and learn the theory necessary to achieve the goal. Then I will challenge you to use the knowledge to achieve the goal. You will most likely fail at first, but failure is the best way to learn. Finally, I will guide you through the process of achieving the goal. At the end of every lesson, you will be given homework that will reinforce what you have learnt and propel the development of the game we are working on forward.
