About Valérie
I started the piano when I was 7 years old. I fell in love with this instrument right away! It was an idea of my father, to help me to be more focused, and sharpen my mind, since my teachers thought that I had ADHD. If I still had no interest in school, at least I had found my passion and purpose in life! And this is why, at the age of 16, I decided to share this purpose with others! And here I am, after studying piano in University of Montreal, drums in Conservatory, and completing a training in sound therapy in Switzerland for 2 years, my love and passion for music is still growing, glowing, and getting more and more depth!

I adapt to every student, his personality, way of learning, music preferences. I can teach classical music, Jazz, improvisation, pop, music theory, bases of composition. I often like to do the classes in 3 parts: 1) exercises to develop dexterity, theory and tricks to read music faster. 2) pieces of piano, adapted to the level of the student 3) improvisation and/or duet with the teacher I teach to beginners, intermediate and early advanced students. the pleasure of working with you

Perfect! Loved the first lesson for my 4 year old. Valerie is very understandable, patient, and takes her time to make it fun for a small child. My son also loved her attention for his own interest aswell. We see a bright future with his lessons with Valérie!
