About Jana

My name is Jana. I studied Arabic language and taught this language for more than thirty-three years, 25 years in the UAE teaching native and non-native students, each according to their levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced). The other 8 years I taught Modern Standard Arabic in my home country. I like teaching this language; this is why I want to tutor in my free time and I like many students to speak it.

About the lesson

I create an environment where students feel safe and comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt my teaching methods and styles to each student’s level , strengths, weaknesses and pace. I help students become more independent and more confident in their abilities. I also help students understand concepts instead of memorizing.
