About Oluwaseun
I am a hydrogeologist with a doctorate from the University of Aberdeen, where I researched groundwater security and recharge modelling for the Lagos coastal aquifer system in collaboration with the British Geological Survey. My work has been published in international journals including the Hydrological Sciences Journal, WIREs Water, and the Science of the Total Environment.
Alongside research, teaching has been part of my career for nearly a decade. I have lectured in applied geology, hydrogeology and engineering geology, designed practical GIS and hydrology teaching materials at university level, and co-supervised over fifteen student research projects. I am a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and the European Geosciences Union, and I am working towards Chartered Geologist status with the Geological Society of London.
I take teaching seriously, prepare carefully for every session, and tailor my approach to each student.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's specific coursework, project, or dissertation as I do not deliver generic lectures. We start with what you are stuck on, work through it together at your pace, and end with you able to do the next step on your own.
Sessions usually run 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for software walkthroughs (MODFLOW, WetSpass-M, QGIS, ArcGIS, Python). Between sessions I am happy to review drafts of written work or short pieces of code by message.
I hold a PhD in Hydrogeology from the University of Aberdeen, have published seven peer-reviewed papers, and have supervised over fifteen undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. I have taught university modules in hydrology, GIS, and sustainability for four years.
Lessons are for university undergraduates, masters students, PhD researchers, and working professionals. I am most useful to students working on dissertations, modelling projects, GIS analyses, or technical reports in hydrogeology, hydrology, environmental science, or earth sciences.
