About Nina
I am a History graduate from the University of Oxford with an A* in Maths GCSE and A in Maths A-Level offering tuition in Maths for students up to GCSE level (aged 16). I have previously tutored students to GCSE level with a 100% success rate in students achieving pass marks. This also includes dyslexic students, so I would say I am experienced in making lessons engaging, and helping explain difficult concepts in more manageable terms.

These lessons are available for students of all ages to GCSE (age 16), and I tailor lessons accordingly and to their specific level and motivations.
For secondary students up to GCSE, we will work through the school syllabus; my lessons would match what they've covered at school so we can consolidate lesson work out of the classroom. We can go through homework and consolidate weaker points and, closer to examination periods, we will work through practice assessments to build confidence.
For primary/younger learners lessons will mainly be around consolidating school work and introductions to further concepts in a very interactive, game and discussion-based way to build students interest and confidence.
Overall, the aim of my lessons is to help build your confidence and ensure you leave feeling like you've learned something new!
designed for UK sixth form students (or equivalent international students looking to apply to UK universities). Students should be seeking to apply for humanities/arts/social science degrees at university level (although feel free to contact me to inquire about others).
For admissions preparation we will work through the whole process of personal statement creation, admissions tests preparation, and interview practice.
I care most about engaging students and building their confidence so all of my lessons will focus around discussions and creative exercises to push students to think differently. Each lesson would involve getting in touch before to exchange resources we would cover in the lesson.

I highly recommend Nina as a tutor to anyone who’s interested in the humanities and social sciences.
