About Billy
I am currently a student reading French at University who has a real passion for sharing my knowledge of such a beautiful language and culture. I believe that the best way of doing this is through teaching, providing a service which not only enriches your understanding of French culture but also a service which will improve your academic performance. I am a very easy-going and friendly person and am open to accommodating all levels of competency. I have never missed a deadline and am always open to answering any questions that you may have about the course. I provide detailed feedback which I hope will swiftly facilitate your improvement!

For GCSE / A-Level students (60 mins):
For speaking and listening, I will ask the student typical questions that an examiner would ask to replicate the exam and provide detailed feedback on the student's responses. For reading and writing, I prepare lesson plans which cover the topics in each prospective syllabus and help the student to improve their grasp of the French language by offering advice on how to most efficiently increase their scores. If requested, I will also go over past-papers questions with the student in order to make students feel more comfortable with the examination format.
For Interviews (45 mins):
I will conduct typical mock interviews that a prospective Oxbridge applicant would expect to have online. These usually entail having a student prepare some notes beforehand on a passage, followed by some more general questions on their personal statement and wider extra-curricular interests. After the interview, feedback will always be provided and any questions or doubts will be answered.
I am currently a student at Oxford University studying French, and achieved the highest grades at both GCSE and A-Level.
