Hello, My name is Mariam, and I specialize in tutoring English, Creative Writing, and Essay Writing for middle and high school students. Teaching Methodology & Techniques My teaching style is student-focused and flexible. I break down writing into step-by-step lessons so students understand both the technical side (grammar, structure, clarity) and the creative side (voice, style, imagination). I create a positive, judgment-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. A Typical Lesson Plan 1. Warm-up (5 minutes): A short activity (writing prompt, grammar fix, or discussion starter). 2. Main Focus (30–40 minutes): 3. Essay writing: brainstorming, outlining, or editing drafts. 4. Creative writing: character building, descriptive language, or storytelling. 5. English skills: reading comprehension, vocabulary, or grammar practice. 6. Practice & Feedback (10–15 minutes): Student applies the skill, and I give constructive feedback. 7. Wrap-up (5 minutes): Review key points and suggest a small practice task for next time.
