About Iris
I am a student of the University Pabo and therefore teach weekly at primary schools. I had 6 years of lessons in English at VWO, and at my current study many books have been written in English, which has expanded my knowledge!

I usually start lessons by brushing up on what we have already discussed through a short (and if possible) active activity. Then I explain and present the topic that a child is having difficulty with. Then I do a similar exercise together with the children and finally the child can try this kind of exercise for themselves. When we are done, I discuss with the student how it went and what could be done better next time.
