About Adam
I am currently an undergraduate student in the University of Toronto - undergoing a very writing heavy course. Before enrolling in university, I studied in the International Baccalaureate system, where I achieved a grade of 7 in English Literature - which only 5% of students achieved. Before that, I achieved two 9 grades in English Literature and Language respectively while undergoing GCSEs, which is the highest possible grade.
I have experience tutoring friends and family in English - ranging from everything from essays to creative writing. I am comfortable teaching English at any level.

I teaching philosophy is very hands on; analyzing texts with the student, going through each step of the writing process, and ensuring my lessons pander to each students needs and skillset.
An important aspect of learning is having someone to guide you through a course, rather than just instruct you. With this, I tend to get involved in my lessons - doing tasks along with the student to give a point of comparison. I also have examples of successful tasks, which I analyze with the student to ensure they understand what's expected of them.
