About Mithula
Kia ora! I'm Mithula, a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher with a Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) from the University of Waikato.
I am a provisionally certificated teacher in New Zealand, with teaching experience across Years 1–8 in primary and intermediate schools.
Through my teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, structured literacy, mathematics and differentiated teaching approaches.
I believe every child learns differently and deserves the opportunity to succeed. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging and engaging, with a focus on building confidence, developing strong foundational skills and fostering a genuine love for learning.
I enjoy making learning fun, meaningful and accessible, helping children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.
