About Lucy

My name is Lucy Gonye. I am a Zimbabwean lady aged 29 with a Diploma in Education, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, and a few online teaching courses certificates I achieved to enhance my teaching career. To me, teaching is not just a profession; it's a passion. I enjoy teaching very much and I love learning new things from the experience in teaching my learners. I love the satisfaction of seeing my learners grasping concepts I would have delivered to them.

About the lesson

I teach foundational and advanced literacy through play and I use realia. With me, you learn English from the basics. You get to learn all the four English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I teach from the phonics to word attack, which makes my students speak, read, and write English fast and easily.

Lucy is very professional and trustworthy. She is extremely hard working and she always goes the extra mile for her students. She was always very well prepared for her lessons and extremely focused.
I will always refer to Lucy as one of my BEST employees and she will always be highly recommended by myself.
Having Lucy as a tutor will definitely be a huge benefit to anyone who employ her!
