About Shrey
About Me:
Hello! I'm Shrey, a current Economics major at the esteemed University of Warwick. During my middle school years, I faced some challenges with math, but I understood its significance in the field of economics. Determined to strengthen my foundation, I embarked on a personal learning journey, developing effective techniques to grasp mathematics. Surprisingly, this struggle turned into a genuine expertise that ignited my passion for teaching.
My teaching experience extends beyond the classroom. I am actively involved in a social service organization, where I have the privilege of providing free education to underprivileged students. Through this meaningful work, I've honed my teaching skills and learned to adapt to different learning styles. As a recent student myself, I understand the unique challenges and time constraints that students face, allowing me to provide empathetic guidance.

As a teacher, I adopt a kinaesthetic approach to education, which emphasizes hands-on learning and active engagement. I have developed these methodologies during my three years of volunteering to teach students in slums within my city. This approach allows students to participate actively in the learning process and promotes a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
In my classes, problem-solving takes center stage, as it encourages critical thinking and analytical skills development. While I do provide lecture notes and conceptual instruction, they are interwoven with a heavy focus on past paper questions to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. By combining theoretical knowledge with immediate application, I aim to enhance students' ability to apply learned concepts to exam questions.
One of my special features as a teacher is my recent graduation from the educational system. This allows me to relate closely to young adults and understand their perspectives, enabling effective communication and connection with my students. I strive to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in discussions.
My classes are primarily intended for A-level students ranging from the 6th to the 11th grades (AS Level). By targeting this specific age group, I can tailor my teaching methods to suit their needs, academic requirements, and developmental stages.
