About Dan
Before I became a professional editor, I studied film as a fine art at Central St Martins in London. This fine art path laid the foundation for an unusual approach to editing, infusing it with a depth of artistic understanding that I use in my job every day. While mastering the software is undoubtedly crucial, I believe there's more to editing than just technical proficiency. My aim is to empower you to edit swiftly and effortlessly, using the software not as a constraint, but as a conduit for expressing your vision.

Dan is one of the best film and tv editors I know. I have cut with him on many projects in the UK and US. He is visually inventive, gifted with music and has a natural skill with structure. Dan is also unfailingly calm, generous and funny. If I wanted to learn how to edit really well, Dan would be where I'd start. He'd know how to break ideas down, inspire and build confidence.
