Holding a master's certificate in the Psychology of Learning, my teaching approach is all about you — understanding your unique learning style and crafting a tailored experience.

My goal is to inspire confidence in your academic journey. I believe in creating an environment where questions are welcomed, discussions are lively, and learning is a collaborative adventure. I'm here not just to teach but to empower you in mastering the intricacies of psychology, whether it's for high school coursework, college-level studies, or AP Psychology.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centric and tailored to individual learning styles. I believe in fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment where students actively engage with the material. By identifying each student's strengths and challenges, I customize my approach to meet their specific needs.

I employ a variety of teaching methods, including interactive discussions, real-world examples, visual aids, and problem-solving exercises. I aim to make complex concepts accessible by breaking them down into manageable parts and relating them to practical scenarios.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Assessment: Understand the student's current knowledge and areas of difficulty.
Goal Setting: Collaboratively set clear learning objectives for the session.
Concept Exploration: Introduce and explain key concepts using a mix of visual aids and real-world examples.
Interactive Learning: Engage students in discussions, problem-solving, and application exercises.
Clarification: Address questions and provide additional explanations where needed.
Summarization: Recap the session, emphasizing key takeaways and strategies for independent study.

My 10+ years of experience as a high school and college psychology teacher, coupled with a master's certificate in the Psychology of Learning, uniquely positions me to understand diverse learning styles. I am adept at creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that empowers students to grasp complex psychological concepts.

My lessons cater to high school and college students, including those enrolled in AP Psychology courses. Whether students are seeking to reinforce foundational knowledge, prepare for exams, or delve deeper into specific topics, my tutoring is designed to meet their academic needs and enhance their overall understanding of psychology.
