About Daniel
Hi! I’m Daniel, a first-year medical student at UNSW who secured offers from multiple programs including UNSW Med and UQ dent, and received interview offers from Griffith, and University of Notre Dame. Given my recent first-hand experience in the interview process, I specialize in helping students refine their answers for questions like “Why Medicine?”, ethics scenarios, and MMI stations. I focus on making you sound genuine and structured, not robotic. We’ll cover your personal experiences and how to frame them to fit each university’s values.

LESSON BREAKDOWN:
Initial Assessment:
We’ll start by identifying your target universities and reviewing your current strengths, weaknesses, and speaking style. I’ll then tailor your sessions toward each school’s format (e.g. MMI vs panel, ethical vs motivation-based questions).
Core Techniques:
You’ll learn structured approaches for every question type:
“Why Medicine/Dentistry?”
Ethical and situational judgement scenarios
Teamwork and communication stations
Stress and resilience questions
Current issues in healthcare
I’ll teach you how to break down prompts under time pressure and organise your responses using clear, logical frameworks.
Practical Simulation:
Each session includes realistic mock interviews where I play the examiner. You’ll practice verbal delivery, eye contact, tone, and timing under realistic conditions, with targeted feedback after every round.
Feedback and Refinement:
I provide detailed, honest feedback on your content, structure, and delivery. Together we’ll refine your tone, word choice, and pacing so your answers sound natural yet professional.
