About Nicholas

I taught on a website called schoolhouse.world as a volunteer tutor and garnered experience with a wide range of students.

My self-teaching journey started in grade 11 when I bought some logic textbooks, which has since bloomed into understanding of complex topics like proofs with constructions, real analysis, linear algebra and group theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and a range of competition math subjects including algebraic manipulations and more.

About the lesson

My methods of teaching are largely understanding based.
Since learning math, I was always fascinating not necessarily by the ends, but by the means which were used to get there, and believe that an understanding focused approach is the best method for student success.

Normally, a typical lesson plan for elementary levels would consist of Khan Academy lessons tailored to the level and study of concern of the student.

For higher level learners, this would more likely consist of competition math problems, pertinent textbooks and their problems, or some combination of the two.

Having had experience with younger learners, I can handle lessons with both motivated and struggling students, and adapt to the pace of the learner with ease.
