About Jordan

I’m Jordan, a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at the University of Pennsylvania. I grew up in San Jose, Seoul and graduated as valedictorian of my international high school, where I completed both IB and AP coursework. I was admitted to Penn through Early Decision, and was a Harvard Prize Book runner-up.

I’ve been tutoring since high school, working with middle and high school students in SAT prep, English, math, and chemistry, and I currently guide students through IB English and college applications. Having gone through these exact challenges very recently, I understand what students need and how to help them reach their goals with patience and clear guidance.

I tutor English, essay writing, and SAT prep online for middle school, high school, and college students. I’m studying at the University of Pennsylvania, graduated as valedictorian, scored a 1550 on the SAT (750 Reading and Writing), earned a 7 in IB English, and was a Harvard Prize Book runner-up.

For SAT prep, I start with a diagnostic and build a targeted plan around the question types where you can gain the most points. For English and essays, I work with your own assignments so skills carry over directly to your grades.

I tutored SAT Reading and Writing throughout high school and currently help students with IB English and college essays for schools like Penn, Cornell, NYU, and CMU. My focus is clear structure, strong arguments, and confident writing in your own voice.
