About Adam
Adam Hall is a multi-award-winning filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, CA. He's primarily a writer/director, but he also works as a producer and editor. Adam's projects have played at more than 150 film festivals worldwide, winning 67 awards and being nominated for more than 50 more. He received his MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California in 2011. His thesis film, "SUDDEN DEATH!" screened in over 100 film festivals and won more than 50 awards.
Adam wrote and directed several award-winning original series: RESEARCH. - starring Golden Globe winner Barry Bostwick and Saturn Award winner Doug Jones, INSIDE THE EXTRAS STUDIO - an original comedy series for 1620 Media and Pilgrim Studios hosted by Barry Bostwick, I HATE IT! - a satirical review show, THE DEATH OF RASPUTIN - a short film starring Kyle Howard, Barry Bostwick and Mark Christopher Lawrence, and many more through Mildly Fearsome Films, the production company he co-owns with his amazing wife, partner and producer, Melanie. Most recently, they sold a feature script called THE BUNKER that's currently in pre-production, and they're in post-production on a web series called SHERLOCK, BY M. WATSON, starring Tanya Chisholm, Barry Bostwick and Sean Persaud.
Adam also worked extensively in reality television for networks like TLC, Discovery, Nat Geo and others on shows like THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER, GHOST HUNTERS, DIRTY JOBS and many more. Most recently, Adam was an Associate Producer for five seasons on WICKED TUNA and WICKED TUNA: OUTER BANKS on Nat Geo.
In the world of academia, Adam has been both the Chair of Cinema and the Associate Chair of Production at California College of ASU, the Director of Production at Azusa Pacific University and has taught at a variety of other places, including Columbia College Hollywood, UC Riverside and Mt. San Antonio College.
