About Libby
I am currently studying Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney and graduated a Bachelor of Science with first class honors from the University of Melbourne. Through my own experience preparing for GAMSAT, I understand the challenges of the exam. My teaching style is structured, supportive, and strategy-focused, with an emphasis on building confidence, clear reasoning, and sustainable improvement rather than rote memorization. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged to ask questions, and equipped with practical approaches they can apply independently.

Section 1
Learn practical strategies to truly understand and engage with complex texts. Do you ever finish reading a passage only to realise you didn’t fully understand it? I focus on helping you break down dense material, identify what the question is really asking, and approach texts with clarity and purpose — even under time pressure. The goal is to improve comprehension, reasoning, and confidence, rather than speed-reading without understanding.
Section 2
Finding your ideas run dry under exam conditions? My approach removes the pressure to use “fancy” vocabulary or memorised templates. Instead, we focus on developing strong ideas, clear arguments, and logical structure. You’ll learn how to organise your thoughts efficiently, develop ideas as you write, and present them in a way that engages the reader. This makes Section 2 feel far less daunting and helps you produce authentic, coherent, and distinctive pieces that stand out.
I used these strategies to improve my own scores by 10 marks in both sections, and I’ll guide you in applying them effectively to your own preparation!
