About Vaishnavi
I am Vaishnavi Reddy, a classical Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher from Bangalore, trained under Aacharya Prathiba Sathyavannan. With over 10 years of experience in the Vazhavoor style of Bharatanatyam, I have performed extensively on prestigious platforms and in renowned temples. Some of the notable platforms include Doordarshan Kendra, Golden Temple, ISKCON Temple, Arka Kala Kuteera, Chamundeshwari Temple, Kadambari Kalakshetra, Dashami reality show, and many more. I completed my Gejje Pooja in 2018, marking the formal beginning of my classical journey, and successfully completed my Arangetram in 2023. Over the years, I have been honored with several awards and accolades in the field of dance, including the Natya Mayuri Award from NBIS, Natya Kalamani from Hosur Natyanjali, Seriganada Prashasti Patra, Natya Kireeta Award, and many more. As both a dancer and a teacher, I believe Bharatanatyam is not merely a dance form, but a profound medium of expression, storytelling, and spiritual connection. My aim is to preserve the traditional essence of the art while guiding students to develop strong technique, expressive depth, and a deep respect for this timeless classical heritage.

I am a trained Bharatanatyam teacher with more than a decade of experience in the Vazhavoor style. My teaching emphasizes basics, rhythm, expression, and storytelling, guiding students with patience and discipline at their own pace. I welcome students of all ages and levels. Class timings and fees are flexible and can be discussed based on the student’s availability.
