About Jovie
I’m passionate about helping you bring your own expression to life through the violin. With over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance (Contemporary Repertoire), I blend classical training with a modern approach. My lessons focus on developing strong bowing technique, rich vibrato, clear phrasing, and musical interpretation across classical, contemporary, and cinematic styles. I specialize in preparing students for orchestral excerpts and ensemble playing, so you feel ready to contribute to your section with confidence. My background includes extensive experience guiding students through ABRSM and Trinity exams, as well as orchestral coaching sessions. I enjoy seeing players grow from careful practice into passionate performers who connect with their fellow musicians. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’m here to support your progress.
