Carol and I met when she was living in the US.
I had heard through friends that they were loving a small art group that Carol was giving for ‘non-creatives’ so as someone who believed she had no creativity in her I was intrigued and had to join.
A couple of weeks later Carol took me aside as she was concerned that I was not getting as much as I should from her classes. After some probing questions we came to realize that my passion was for fabrics and so Carol introduced textiles into her class and my creative life began.
Carol continued to nurture and inspire me after the class ended and I now have a joyful and exciting life designing and creating everything from erotica to baby banners using mostly exquisite fabrics but melding in many other media.
You can see that I am a huge fan of Carol - her teaching, intuitive understanding and her art.
