About Jahnavi
Hello! I am a registered veterinarian currently working as a One Health Consultant at the UNDP. My journey in science has allowed me to work at the highest levels with international organizations, including both the UN and the WHO Headquarters in Geneva. Alongside my global health consulting work, I have spent over two years as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Davis, where I discovered my genuine passion for teaching microbiology, molecular biology, and genetics. I love breaking down complex topics into easy, bite-sized lessons that actually make sense. Whether you want to ace your school exams or prepare for advanced science competitions, I am here to build your confidence and help you succeed in an encouraging, friendly space!

As a registered veterinarian completing a Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (MPVM) at UC Davis, I bring advanced scientific training directly into our lessons. My academic and professional expertise spans complex topics in microbiology, molecular biology, and cellular biology. Beyond the classroom, I have worked at the global health level with the Global Arbovirus Initiative at the World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva. In this role, I routinely translated intricate epidemiological data and scientific frameworks into structured resource packages for international emergency preparedness.
Because of this extensive background, I am highly capable of breaking down complex biological concepts and addressing them across multiple levels for many different types of people. Whether you are a high school student tackling AP Biology, a competitor preparing for advanced science contests, or a university student mastering cellular pathways, my lessons are tailored to meet your individual pace. I focus on developing strong scientific reasoning, interactive problem-solving skills, and deep conceptual clarity that connects textbook theory to real-world medical and research applications.
