Struggling with veterinary subjects like anatomy, physiology, or pathology? I help university students understand complex concepts clearly and perform better in exams and assignments.

I am a Veterinary Medicine graduate and researcher with experience at the University of Melbourne and international research institutions. I have worked extensively in areas such as physiology, molecular biology, and animal-based research.

I understand how demanding veterinary courses can be, especially when lectures move quickly and concepts become overwhelming. My teaching focuses on simplifying difficult topics so you can truly understand them—not just memorise.

I can help you with:

Veterinary Anatomy
Veterinary Physiology
Veterinary Pathology
Animal Biology & Clinical Concepts
Exam preparation and assignment support

In our lessons, I will identify exactly where you're struggling, break concepts down step-by-step, and guide you until you feel confident solving problems independently.

I also support students with understanding research papers and improving academic writing where needed.

Whether you're trying to pass, improve your grades, or gain deeper understanding, I will help you build clarity and confidence in your studies.

Feel free to message me with your subject or topics—I’m happy to help.

**Academic Integrity Statement**

I am committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity in all tutoring sessions. My role is to support students in developing their understanding of subject matter, strengthening their analytical skills, and improving the structure and clarity of their assignments.

I do not complete assignments, assessments, or graded work on behalf of students. Instead, I provide guidance on how to interpret questions, plan responses, organize ideas, and apply relevant concepts effectively. All work submitted by students must be their own original effort.

This approach ensures that students not only achieve better academic outcomes but also remain fully compliant with their institution’s academic integrity policies.

  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

My interest in veterinary science and biology started early in university, but it really became serious during my research career. Working in labs and publishing research made me appreciate how important it is to truly understand concepts—not just memorise them.

Tutoring came naturally when I started helping classmates and junior lab members. I realised I enjoy turning complex topics into simple, clear explanations that actually stick.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, and the topics you enjoy most

I teach veterinary science, molecular biology, cell biology, and bioinformatics.

What students usually find helpful is that I focus on:

Breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps
    Linking theory to real-life examples
Teaching how to approach exam questions and assignments

I especially enjoy topics like disease mechanisms, lab techniques, and data analysis—but I also help students handle “heavy memorisation” subjects more efficiently with the right strategies.
  • 3) Did you have any role models or inspiring teachers?

Yes—some of my best mentors weren’t just knowledgeable, they were great at explaining things clearly and patiently.

That’s something I’ve carried into my own teaching: making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and never feel “behind.”
  • 4) What qualities make a good tutor?

    A good tutor should:

Explain things in a way that makes sense to the student
    Be patient and supportive
    Adapt to different learning styles
Focus on building confidence, not just covering content

My goal is always to make students feel more confident after every session.
  • 5) Share an anecdote from your studies or subject

During my research, I had a period where experiments kept failing despite following standard protocols.

After adjusting small details, everything started working—and that really stayed with me. I now teach students to focus on understanding concepts, not just memorising steps. That’s what actually leads to better results.
  • 6) What challenges have you faced in your field?

One of the biggest challenges was moving into areas like bioinformatics and AI alongside biology.

It required learning new skills from scratch—but it also helped me develop a more flexible way of thinking. Now I use that experience to help students who feel overwhelmed by complex or technical topics.
  • 7) What are you most passionate about?

I’m passionate about helping students go from feeling confused to actually understanding and enjoying the subject.

I also enjoy showing how what they’re learning connects to real-world science, research, and careers.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof?

    I combine:

Real research experience (lab work, publications, data analysis)
    Clear, structured explanations
A focus on results—whether that’s improving grades, passing exams, or building confidence

Most importantly, I adapt to each student. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or understanding difficult topics, I make sure lessons are practical, clear, and effective.
