About Lara
I am a violin tutor with 7 years of experience and a Master of Music in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students discover that consistent effort and supportive teaching lead to meaningful musical progress.
My lessons are patient, organized, and adapted to each learner's goals. I encourage students to develop strong fundamentals while expressing their own musical personality with confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing with orchestras, arranging string music, and exploring traditional violin styles from different cultures. These experiences help me create engaging and inspiring lessons.

My violin lessons help students develop strong skills through clear instruction and enjoyable practice. We focus on posture, bow control, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, tone quality, scales, string crossings, and expressive phrasing using simple exercises and carefully chosen music. Every lesson encourages students to learn with confidence while enjoying steady progress.
As learners become more comfortable, we work on shifting, vibrato, sight reading, ensemble playing, musical interpretation, performance preparation, ear training, and smart practice routines. I provide thoughtful guidance and regular feedback so students improve naturally while becoming expressive and confident performers.
My goal is to help students enjoy every stage of learning the violin while developing excellent technique and musical understanding. Every lesson builds confidence, creativity, and a lifelong connection with music.
