About Jenny
I am a graduate of the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance). I also attended Aspen Music School during the summers in college. I currently play with many orchestras in the area, which includes Lake Washington, Bellevue, Federal Way, SMCO, and previously with Yakima. In addition, I love chamber music and love to perform with smaller groups with my peers and colleagues. I also have given many recitals and concerts to benefit organizations and nonprofits.

I have been teaching since 2002 and absolutely love working with students and making a difference in their lives. I always tell my students that my number one goal is to help them fall in love with music. To really find themselves through artistic expression and hopefully that will stay with them a lifetime. I tailor my lessons to cater to technical excellence (foundation, scales, technique for left and right hand), and then I also teach the Suzuki method. I encourage 30 mins of practice per day, and hold 2 formal recitals a year. I also encourage participation in local youth orchestras, school orchestras, state solo and ensemble, festivals and local competitions.
