About Andre
As a Bachelor of Music graduate from UFBA (Federal University of Bahia) and a current Master's student in Violin Performance at West Texas A&M University, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to music. My professional journey includes performing with esteemed ensembles such as the São Paulo Youth Orchestra, the Bahia Symphony Orchestra, and currently, the Amarillo Symphony. I have been recognized for my contributions to culture, winning the Young Soloists Competition at UFBA and earning a special recognition from the São Paulo City Council. Notably, I served as Concertmaster of the São Paulo Youth Orchestra (2011-2012) and hold the same role with the WT Symphony Orchestra. My goal is to achieve advanced academic titles, such as a doctorate, and to become Concertmaster in a prominent orchestra. I believe in a personalized teaching approach, recognizing that every student has a unique story, personality, and path to success. I strive to foster creativity and individuality in each of my students, crafting lessons that inspire growth and passion for music.
