About Audrey
I am a violin tutor with 11 years of experience and a PhD in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students achieve meaningful progress through supportive teaching, careful planning, and practical learning experiences.
My lessons are designed to balance technical development with musical expression. I encourage every learner to improve at their own pace while building confidence through regular practice and positive encouragement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing solo recitals, mentoring young musicians, and studying violin repertoire from different musical periods. These experiences help me provide engaging lessons filled with practical performance knowledge and artistic inspiration.

My violin lessons help students enjoy learning while developing reliable technique and musical confidence. We focus on posture, bow movement, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, intonation, listening skills, and coordinated playing through clear explanations and practical exercises that support steady improvement.
As students grow, we work on scales, shifting, vibrato, sight reading, expressive phrasing, ensemble skills, concert preparation, and performance confidence. I also introduce visualization, silent practice, and focused warm-up methods that help learners perform with greater ease and control.
My goal is to help every learner become a confident violinist who enjoys sharing music with others. Every lesson strengthens technique, creativity, discipline, and expressive performance through patient guidance.
