Violin/Viola online tutoring! I am a high school student. I have taught for 3 years and play at a college level. I am happy to help beginner to advanced students, and I hope I can share my passion.

About Brooklyn
I am currently a junior in high school, and have played the violin for almost 6 years. I have tutored for about half that time, teaching for 3 years.
I started violin in 6th grade at middle school, getting the basics for the first 2 years. After that however, I pushed myself and advanced very quickly. In my third year of experience, I was with a class for 4th years. In my 4th year, I was playing along with those who had 6-8 years of experience. And we played music at a college level.
I have been in a very advanced after-school orchestra that plays professional music for 2 years.
Your ability in the violin is built off many things, your goal, your attitude and your ability to push yourself. Your teacher, your bravery and your community. Most of all experience.
I didn't learn this until my 5th year of playing. But your sound, is not based off talent. How you sound, can actively be changed by your attitude. I wish you the best of luck.

Lessons vary based on your experience; however, I usually start with a warm-up, both with the violin and a knowledge question. After that, I focus on posture and technique, then playing music and using the violin for most of the time. At the end, I like to focus on one of three topics: music theory, Sheet music, and interpreting music, or history/practical information about the violin and orchestras.
I tailor how I teach to each individual and push them based only on what they can handle and what will keep them motivated. I really love this instrument and want to help you!
