About Anna
I am a classically trained violinist with over 15 years of experience. I have taught violin and viola at various levels, primarily to children with less than 2 years of experience when they come to me. I have experience performing as well, both in a recital format and with orchestra. I also have a firm background in music theory. I have studied with professors from all over the world and hope to pass on my love of music to aspiring violinists in the Lawrence area. I also have some background in folk/fiddle music, though my primary concentration is the classical tradition.

I teach to share my passion for music and the joy it brings me with students. I am classically trained and teach using the Suzuki books mixed with other Classical repertoire as students advance. I put the FUN in FUNdamentals; my students genuinely enjoy doing their scales. I also teach some folk/fiddle music as students are interested. If you or your child are looking to become a better violinist and cultivate joy in your life through music, I would love to be your new violin teacher!
